Snake in the Grass - 2005

I took this while visiting Wee Willie in Virginia earlier this year. It was a cold day (about 50 degrees) and the snake was very inactive, until I almost stepped on it.

Sing Sing at dusk

This picture was taken from the train on the way home from a trip to Manhattan. Yes, we live between Sing Sing Prison and a nuclear power plant. Great location, right?

St. Patrick's Cathedral - October 2004

A nice night time picture of St. Pat's. I like the blurred lights. It wasn't the effect that I was after, but I'm happy with the results.

Taken by me when our friends, Stan and Nancy were visiting from DC.

Cancun

I took these pictures during my Christmas vacation to Xpu-Ha last year. The first picture was taken at sunrise on the day after Christmas. I really like the reddish pink streaks in the clouds.

The second picture was take a couple of days later. The pink in the pictures are reflections of flamingos. What I really like about this picture is the way that the reflections are distorted in the water.

My Sister's Evil Eye

I took this when I was visiting my sister in Massachusetts in October. She knew that I was taking a picture of her, so she gave me this expression.

October in Central Park

I took this picture in Central Park when Gen, Angela and "M" were here in October.

So good that I had to post it again

Yes, this picture was posted on my restaurant quest blog, but I like it so much that I had to post it here. This picture was taken on Halloween on the 6 train in Manhattan.

Jim returned to Bay St. Louis 2 weeks after Hurrican Katrina destroyed the town where he lived. These are a couple of pictures that he took.

The picture is looking south from my living room as the eye was passing about 5 miles to the north.

Well, Black Cat. You've talked me into it. Here is my photo blog. Send me your best photos and I'll post them here, with appropriate credit.
